Today marks the end of the fifth week in my pre-book-launch blog countdown-the halfway point!-as well as the day we wrap up the “friendship” topic. The other day I’d promised I’d give more tips for keeping friendships strong, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I’d covered most of the bases already. Last week I wrote about:
- How to meet and form connections with other moms
- Determining whether your social life is meeting all your needs
- Dealing with cliques and creating your own in-crowd
- Moving past common obstacles to forming new friendships as a mom
- Nurturing friendships with other mothers by learning how to be a good friend
- plus, Navigating friendships with your child-free friends.
Phew! That’s a lot of ground to cover in one week, and while I could give more specific ideas for helping you stay in touch-like planning regular girl’s nights, for example-that topic will have to wait for another week. For now, it’s time for us to move on to next topic: Trust Your Gut. I know I’m not the first person to tell you to “trust your gut” as a mom, but-uhhh-what does that mean? This week we’ll be talking all about cutting through the noise made up by outside opinions and information overload and getting right to the heart of the matter–that is, what your heart is telling you to do. Can’t wait to explore this topic with you!

I can’t tell you how much I appreciated last week’s round of posts. I thought they were insightful and something we are all experiencing in one way or another as moms.
Thanks!
