It’s been about four months since my first Sunday Reads post, and I have to say I’ve loved giving myself time every week to read blogs for pleasure. I’ve discovered so many great writers along the way, and love sharing the posts with you all, as well as reading your suggestions.
Since we’re coming into a holiday week, most of today’s reads are centered around food, family, and special occasions:
- Keeping the Kids Table Happy – at Life as MOM. Chances are good your children will be sitting with siblings and cousins at a “Kid’s Table” this holiday season. (via Simple Mom)
- Thanksgiving Dinner Survival Guide – by Aviva Goldfarb of the Six O’Clock Scramble, for Working Mother.
- The Root Of It – at YogaJournal.com. Makes me want to snuggle up to a bowl of carrots and rutabagas, stat!
- The Crank, The Critic, and the Creeper: 3 Ways to deal with family at the holiday. My latest post for Citrus Lane, especially for those adjusting to holiday celebrations with a new baby.
And though it has nothing to do with food or holidays, I’d love if you’d check out my latest Babble post, featuring a topic I’ve written about here several times before: identifying “trigger” messes to help your house feel a lot cleaner, fast.
Hope you’re having a restful Sunday! I’ll catch up with you tomorrow for this week’s Mindful Monday. And if you’ve read anything great recently, please share a link in the comments!
