This month’s theme is “home”, but a girl can only do so much pantry-reorganizing and clothes-sorting and just-had-to-throw-out-$30-worth-of-meat emergency new-fridge shopping at once. Today I need a break from the topic of caring for and improving my house, so I bring you these three amazing posts about life, compassion, being yourself and pursuing happiness.

And I’d love for you to check out my latest post at Babble Voices: Work-at-home stress? 6 tips for juggling it all.
Hope you had a great weekend – see you right here tomorrow for Mindful Monday.

Doing household work regularly sometimes becomes a monotonous task. Even, I try to bring changes in my daily routine to get rid of this monotony. Once In a while, I feel that someone should do all this work for me . It is good for you to take a break from all this.
My kids are in a christian homeschool coop that didn’t start school until today because of some unfortunate circumstances…so we did the work at home as individual families for a few months, and the mess piled, and the cleaning got left to the wayside except that which was absolutely necessary to function. And today when my kids finally started school, when i had thought and planned to finally organize and clean all that had stared at me for months, I sat blissfully alone. Drank coffee. Made a phone call, tidied a little, read some things online I’d wanted to (like catch up on your blog posts!), but mostly did nothing in particular. And it felt so good! Now I just need a little chocolate before the kids get home!
